Founded and created by an enthusiastic, hospitality-minded, and passionate team, we have one clear purpose: the development of sustainable and innovative hospitality concepts that respond to current trends and the needs of tomorrow. While our main focus is on creating and operating new, innovative hospitality concepts, we also provide consulting services to existing hospitality companies in operations and marketing. Our clients often describe us as “top notch and kicking ass” — and we’re not joking!

As an innovative hospitality company, we do things differently in order to change the hospitality industry in a positive way. We have to, as we see big threats moving toward our beloved industry. We can’t and won’t neglect much-needed innovation. We turn traditional business models upside down and create our own. We’re not scared to be a bit rebellious, and we love to ‘color outside the lines’. Apart from this, we love to broaden our horizon through consulting already-existing hospitality concepts in concept development, operations, marketing & PR. We carry out profit sharing among our teams and were the first restaurateurs in the Dutch hospitality industry to implement this. Since then, others have followed our lead. Furthermore, we will continue to develop our renewed hospitality HR model to retain and attract much-needed talent!

What did we achieve?

Since our inception, we’ve achieved several key milestones. In 2016, we launched the award-winning Pesca, followed by a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign in 2019. In 2017, we opened De Tulp in Amsterdam, Fiona (inspired by a renowned Mexican chef), and Lolo (an Italian concept). We also introduced two hotel concepts: THIS HO(S)TEL and Boutique Hotel Zaan.

In 2022, a second Pesca location opened in Rotterdam in collaboration with Borealis and Hilton, alongside the launch of ‘Stadsoase’ in Eindhoven – now known as Café LouLou. In 2023, we introduced Selva and Sonora, two innovative concepts on the 24th floor of nhow Amsterdam RAI in collaboration with Minor Hotels. That same year, we celebrated a significant partnership with Meliá Hotels International, which led to the acquisition of three F&B outlets at the INNSiDE by Meliá hotel in Amsterdam, where we now operate MOST, Tierra, and Hasta La Vista, Baby! on the rooftop.

At the end of 2024, we proudly opened Café Café in the heart of Amsterdam – a vibrant new hotspot that reflects our ongoing commitment to creativity and connection.

What’s next?

In 2025, we celebrated a major step in our international expansion with the openings of Pesca Nice in March and Pesca Hamburg in April. With this foundation in place, our focus is now on scaling Pesca further across Europe and continuing to develop impactful hospitality concepts that shape the future of our industry – both in the Netherlands and beyond.

At Pesca, we dedicate 50% of our time and passion to growing the brand, with a mission centered on the future of responsible fish consumption – to ensure we can still sell fish 100 years from now. Our unique market-style concept allows guests to choose from a daily-changing selection of fresh fish at dynamic prices – reducing waste and creating an engaging dining experience.

Through the Pesca Foundation, we support projects that contribute to the future of fish and the health of our oceans.

Since launching in 2016 – and winning Best Hospitality Concept – we’ve celebrated key milestones, including a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign in 2019 and rapid expansion across the Netherlands.

At the start of 2025, we proudly opened Pesca Nice in March and Pesca Hamburg in April. With more international openings ahead, we continue to grow the Pesca movement and reimagine the future of fish.

Opened at the end of 2024, Café Café is a collaboration between Younique Concepts and Vermaat Groep, designed as an all-day destination in the heart of Amsterdam. Located along the Amstel and featuring the city’s largest covered terrace, Café Café seamlessly blends laid-back vibes with lively energy.

The menu focuses on modern French cuisine, paired with great wines, craft cocktails, and a vibrant atmosphere that evolves from lunch to late-night. Designed by the creative team at King Kongs (Eindhoven), the interior is warm, eclectic, and made for connection.

From casual lunches and after-work drinks to dancing into the evening, Café Café brings a dynamic new rhythm to the city.

Hasta La Vista, Baby! is a vibrant restaurant and cocktail bar located within the INNSiDE by Meliá hotel on the Zuidas in Amsterdam. Open for nearly two years now, it has become a key part of our collaboration with Meliá Hotels International. The venue is one of three distinct food and beverage concepts we’ve developed at this location, alongside the fresh lunch concept MOST and our dining restaurant Tierra.

Spread across two striking ground-floor buildings, these venues offer a diverse and high-quality culinary experience in the heart of the Zuidas. We were proud to be nominated for the Entree Award ‘Best New Rooftop’ – a testament to the energy and creativity behind this project.

De Tulp opened in the summer of 2017, a vibrant project we proudly developed in collaboration with JAJEM. Located in Amsterdam’s Pijp neighborhood at Marie Heinekenplein 33, De Tulp brings a lively, jungle-inspired atmosphere to the city.

Designed as an all-day and night destination, De Tulp offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks on its colorful self-service terrace or inside with live music and DJs. It’s a welcoming spot for locals and visitors alike, where everyone can soak in the energy and enjoy the tropical vibe.

Opened in 2023, Selva has quickly become a must-visit destination in Amsterdam, offering Latin American-inspired cuisine with stunning views from the 24th floor of nhow Amsterdam RAI. Developed in close collaboration with Minor Hotels, Selva showcases the strength of this successful partnership – combining bold design, vibrant flavors, and panoramic energy.

Just steps away, Sonora – a stylish cocktail bar – complements Selva with a refined yet playful atmosphere, serving expertly crafted drinks late into the night. Together, the two venues have become standouts in Amsterdam’s hospitality scene, attracting both locals and international guests.

Selva and Sonora are about more than just food and drinks – they offer elevated experiences that bring people together above the city skyline.

The project is the result of a close collaboration with partners who helped bring the concept to life. Together, we shaped a space that’s fresh, stylish, and made for connection.

For the past few years, Lolo has brought bold Italian energy to Oudekerksplein – a vibrant and one-of-a-kind eatery run by a passionate (and slightly wild) team from Italy. Blending contemporary and modern Italian cuisine, Lolo pairs exceptional wines with a creative cocktail program in a lively, welcoming setting.

The menu offers a playful take on Italian classics, made with premium ingredients sourced directly from Italy and enhanced with the chef’s own creative twists. At the bar, the team is known for bold, imaginative cocktails that perfectly complement the food and atmosphere.

Lolo is anything but ordinary – yet instantly feels like home. Lush, colorful, and full of life, the space evolves throughout the evening with custom playlists and a warm, joyful vibe that keeps guests coming back.

In the heart of Amsterdam, THIS HO(S)TEL offers a modern twist on the classic hostel. Designed for adventurous travelers, the minimalist rooms feature cozy double beds, climate control, and smart conveniences – all within a sleek, urban setting.

More than just a place to sleep, it’s a social hideaway where guests can relax, connect, and explore the city in comfort. On-site, the vibrant Mexican eatery Fiona adds flavor and energy to the experience.

Concept Development

Younique Concepts proudly created the concept for Boutique Hotel Zaan, a homelike hotel inspired by the diversity and originality of the surrounding scenes. The hotel was designed to feel vibrant, cozy, and welcoming—like a true home away from home. It’s a place where guests come together to enjoy good food, great company, and meaningful conversations.

From the moment you walk through the front door, the warm and inviting atmosphere speaks for itself. Boutique Hotel Zaan features 25 beautifully designed rooms, a restaurant with a bar, and a spacious terrace along the river Zaan, offering stunning views of De Zaanse Schans. Although we are no longer involved in its operations, we’re proud of the vision we helped bring to life.
