Founded and created by a team of enthusiastic hospitality-minded youngsters with one clear purpose: the development of sustainable and innovative hospitality concepts that respond to current trends and the needs of tomorrow. While we mainly focus on creating new innovative hospitality concepts, we also consult existing hospitality companies. We’re eager to exceed guests’ expectations by providing a unique product, service or experience in a sincere atmosphere.

Are we the future in hospitality?

As an innovative hospitality company we do things different in order to change the hospitality industry in a positive way. We have to, as we see big threats moving towards our beloved industry. We can’t and won’t neglect hard needed innovation. We turn traditional business models upside down and create our own. We’re not scared to be a bit rebellious and we love to ‘color outside the lines’. We carry out profit sharing amongst our teams and are the first restaurateurs in the Dutch hospitality industry to implement this. And we will continue to build our renewed hospitality HR-model to retain and attract much-needed talent. 

In 2016 we opened our award-winning brand Pesca and in 2019 we broke a crowdfunding record with this concept. In 2017 we celebrated the opening of our second concept in Amsterdam named de Tulp, followed by the opening of Fiona, inspired by a renowned Mexican chef and Lolo, an over the top Italian concept. While working on the concept development of THIS HO(S)TEL, Diga and Boutique Hotel Zaan opened its doors at the Zaanse Schans.

Our focus has always been and will be on the growth of Pesca and the development of new strategic brands in the Netherlands, with a handful hospitality concepts lined-up already.

This is what we call a fish revolution! With Pesca we wanted to do the opposite of all the traditional fish restaurants. This is one of the reasons why Pesca leans on three important pillars: guest participation, dynamic pricing and profit-sharing. In 2016 we won the price Best Hospitality Concept and because of the potency Pesca will grow with two locations. Pesca is funded by crowdfunding and in 2018 we broke a national crowdfunding record. De Tulp opened in the summer of 2017 and is a concept developed by Younique Concepts with co-creation of JAJEM. The ‘new style’ bar is launched in Amsterdam, located at (Pijp area) Marie Heinekenplein 33. De Tulp is a place for the neighbourhood, (de Amsterdammer), young and old and for everyone who wants to feel the jungle fever.

De Tulp is an all day & night concept for everyone who wants to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Enjoy the enormous colourful terrace with self-service or dance the night away inside in a lively interior with the best DJ’s and live music!

Established on the Oudekerksplein you’ll find a cutting-edge and incomparable eatery run by a crazy bunch of passionate people from Italy. A mix of contemporary and the modern Italian cuisine, where excellent wines and groundbreaking cocktails join forces. 

An exclusive menu mixing old Italian classics with amazing products direct from Italy – plus a few fun twists from our Chef. From a Burrata to a classic Tagliolini al Tartufo. All we do is made with love. When it comes to drinks, the bar team has created a killer cocktail menu, with the likes of Limon Tette, a kick-ass Baciami, or the ultimate Italian classic Negroni with a twist. 

Lolo is out of the ordinary, yet homelike. Joyfull, lush and funky at night, with house made playlists and a homelike vibe.

¡Bienvenida! Fiona is located on the vibrant Warmoesstraat and here you’ll find the type of Mexican food you would normally only find 5.723 miles away. In Mexico. 

Together with the renowned Mexican chef Zahie Tellez our team created an authentic menu including refreshing and creative cocktails. Taste the paté de pepita, a speciality combining pumpkin-seed pate with habanero chili, served with crudites. And definetly go for the Taco de Jaiba Suave, for example, a deep fried soft shell crab served in a taco with outstanding chipotle mayo, red onion and cilantro. The menu overlays the techniques and heritage of the Mexican cuisine with a Dutch soul. 

If the food doesn’t lift your spirits, the staff and the restaurant its colorful interior for sure will.

We fell completely and utterly in love with this location along the river Zaan, in the heart of Zaandijk with views over the famous De Zaanse Schans and its collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses. Therefore we couldn’t be more grateful when we dropped our luggage off full of tiramisu and a couple of bitterballen. 

In the kitchen our Chef Mani and his dream team is cooking up ultra tasty dishes, popular and generously made with seasonal products.

The big terrace? We guarantee there’s no place you’ll rather be.

Boutique Hotel Zaan is a homelike hotel inspired by the diversity and originality of the scenes that surrounds us. Our bedrooms and restaurant are designed to feel vibrant, cosy and welcoming – like a home away from home. A place where people come together for good food, good company and good conversations. 

As soon as you walk through our front door, you will know what we mean. Boutique Hotel Zaan has 25 rooms, a restaurant with bar and big terrace along the river Zaan and to top it all off views over De Zaanse Schans.
